Boats, RVs, travel trailers, ATVs, snowmobiles, jet skis, vacation rentals, lake houses, ski chalets, and more. If it's recreational, has a clear market value, and sits idle part of the year — it likely qualifies. Tier 1 is for assets valued at $75K+. Tier 2 covers assets under $75K.

And here's where it gets interesting: the more assets you list, the more credits you earn. Members who list multiple assets can effectively turn their portfolio into a travel engine — trading idle time across several properties for a calendar full of adventures, at no nightly cost. If you've been on the fence about a recreational purchase, this is a compelling reason to pull the trigger.

Right now, you can book instantly or plan up to 90 days ahead. That booking window may expand in the future — but for launch, 90 days gives you plenty of runway to plan your next adventure without locking the calendar too far out.

Every asset in the network is reviewed and approved before it can be booked. We set a Club Standard — a minimum bar for quality, condition, and experience — and assets that don't meet it don't make the list. Members also build ratings over time, so the best assets rise to the top.

You're right — taste is personal, and we'd never pretend otherwise. What we care about is honest representation. Every listing goes through an approval process to make sure it's accurately described, properly photographed, and clearly sets expectations for what a guest will experience. We're not here to gatekeep based on luxury level — a well-maintained vintage Airstream can be just as compelling as a lakefront chalet. What we won't allow is misrepresentation. A bait-and-switch doesn't just hurt the member who booked it — it hurts your ratings, your credibility in the club, and the trust that makes the whole network work. So the standard isn't 'is this impressive?' — it's 'is this exactly what it says it is?' If the answer is yes, you're in.

Absolutely. JoyRidr is purely additive. Keep your listings on Airbnb, VRBO, or anywhere else. Your JoyRidr obligation nights are the only ones reserved for the club — all other nights are yours to manage however you like.

No problem — there are two easy paths. You can simply block the nights in your calendar the same way you'd do an owner block (since you only contribute a handful of nights to the JoyRidr network and no cash changes hands — your cleaning fee is covered). Or, your property management company can sign up for a corporate account, list your property directly, and pass the same 24 free nights of adventure straight to you. Either way, there's a path for you.

Your share contribution only activates once the platform reaches a minimum network size. Once live, unused share nights carry no penalty — there's no fine, no fee, no consequence for nights that don't get booked. The obligation is a ceiling, not a guarantee of occupancy. Whatever doesn't get booked is just a night your asset doesn't get booked — it's as simple as that!

Most members coming from platforms like Outdoorsy, Turo, or Airbnb already carry peer-to-peer rental coverage that extends to JoyRidr exchanges. If you're new to listing, we're actively developing an insurance solution built specifically for the club. We'll have more details before launch.

Every member completes ID verification before joining. You can require damage deposits/waivers at booking. And our dispute resolution system handles claims with admin oversight. We're building the trust infrastructure so you don't have to.
